An All-Inclusive Vacation
Dark Odyssey Summer Camp is an all inclusive vacation. Your registration fees include all lodging, meals, classes, and special events. Registration opens each day at noon and runs until 11pm. Your first meal is dinner on the day of your arrival.
The core weekend package is 4 days beginning on Friday and running through Monday. This allows us to have a full day of classes, special events and parties everyday (and night) including Sunday. Monday is your last chance to to spend time with your new scene family as everyone enjoys a nice brunch, leisurely packs and heads back to the real world.
Tent Discount
Since we are expecting another sell-out year we have extended the tent discount. We are offering a $75 credit to all those who bring their own tent or RV and thereby free up a bed in the cabins. We've seen people set up some amazing tents over the years with all the creature comforts of home.
Meal Plan Opt-Out
We recognize that some of our campers have serious dietary restrictions and have to bring their own food to camp. If you are one of those that really needs to make their own meals, we can now allow you to opt out of the meal plan. We think that eating meals together in the dining hall has been a are key factor in creating the amazing community Dark Odyssey we have built over the past 9 years. But we recognize the need for a meal plan opt-out so we are making it possible this year. Our newly created InFusion Cafe, located at Headquarters right next to the pool, will be open during all meal times with gormet sandwiches, salads, vegetarian items and espresso drinks, so you wont have to bring all your own food if you choose to opt-out of the meal plan.
Extra Days in Paradise
Since Summer Camp is a vacation and not just a weekend convention, we've made it possible to add a few extra days to your stay in the perverted Garden of Eden. You can join us as early as Wednesday and just relax and unwind at camp before the crowd arrives for the weekend. Lounge at the pool, walk in the woods or do an extended sensory deprivation scene and not feel like you've missed a special event or lecture. These pre-event days are the favorite time for most of the staff as we get a chance to all be together in a smaller group and really bond.
Typically a third of the camp shows up on Wednesday and another quarter on Thursday. The remainder joins camp "already in progress" on Friday. Everyone has raved about the pre-days. We hope you'll consider joining us on Wednesday or Thursday as well this year.
Resort Option
In order to hold costs down and make camp run as smoothly as possible, it is necessary for all attendees to put in few hours of help around the camp during the course of the weekend. The chores are usually very simple (working at registration, watching the front gate, serving the midnight snack, driving a golf cart, etc), and often don't last the full time slot they are committed to. Besides, they are a great way to meet new people. However, a "resort option" is available that allows you to opt out of the 4 hours of chores for $60 should you so choose.

Notes:
- The current weekend rates are "Stardard Rate" - $395/$410.
- All registration rates are per person.
- Tent Discounts will be applied per person. Only a single $75 credit will be applied. Tent discount has no affect on extra day pricing.
- Meal Plan Opt-Out must be taken for the entire event. Single or daily meal purchases are not available. An additional $20/day discount will be applied to Wednesday/Thursday Extra Day rates.
- Cancellations are subject to a $50 handling fee per registrant
- Gift registrations become the property of the named registrant. Only the named registrant may cancel or transfer their registration.
- Last day to cancel registration and receive a partial refund is August 15, 2011.
- Last day to transfer a registration is September 1, 2011.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and cancel their registration. If we do cancel your registration you will receive a full refund.
