This year we will be combining a mix of returning favorites and new events brought to help spice up your nights (and days!) Parties, Socials, Rituals and more for you to choose from… and these are just some of the ones put on by Dark Odyssey… so many more are camper-created festivities. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Remember, what you get out of this weekend is directly related to what you put into it. Engage, participate, perform!
GARDEN OF CARNAL DELIGHTS
at Sex-O-Rama
Imagine an evening where your deepest desires and fantasies are created and fulfilled. Move from room to room and see what awaits you in a buffet of carnal delight. Hang out in The Make-Out Room, where talking, flirting, negotiating, and heavy petting are strongly encouraged. Ready to get really busy with someone (or several someones)? Or maybe you’d like to be in The Brothel to spend or earn some Kundalini Kash. There will be hookers, hustlers, madams, and johns: who will you be? SWAP AND SHOP!
Do you have something to sell? Maybe you make knives, knit scarves, design jewelry, write books, or make some sort of ingenious implements. Well, come to the Pool and set up shop! That’s right, we’re having an afternoon of vending, and anyone can sell anything (legal, that is). If you bring your own tent, table, or booth set up, even better (if you don’t, no worries, we’ll give you a table). Or…maybe you have something to swap. Come to the Fetish and Other Clothing Swap! Bring that corset you only wore twice, the leather skirt that doesn’t fit you, those shoes you thought were cute but ended up gathering dust in your closet—anything no longer wanted/needed that’s in fab condition. This is a great way to send your stuff to a good home and pick up pretty new things while you’re at it! Vendors should come by before noon to select a spot and set up; space is first come, first serve.

The Furr and the Furious is an act of role playing fantasy centered around a particular time and place in Virginia where the rich and not so rich friends and family of a certain well-known figure in professional sports held a number of private events. The theme of these events was dogfighting, gambling and other less than ethical acts. We choose to reenact these events as part of our fantasy role play, because, well - we like this kinda stuff. DEPARTURE GROUNDING CIRCLE
Leaving Camp is hard. All the new friends and things we have experienced can build up inside and cause difficulties making the transition back to our regular life. People have found relief from the pent up energies and experiences in a ritual grounding circle held Monday morning after the final breakfast. An opportunity to set free your joy or sorrow among welcoming and supportive people in a safe space before leaving. Those who have attended this circle have reported it helping significantly in the transition from the world of DO camp to their everyday life. The circle takes as long as it takes. In the past it has lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.
