ABOUT DARK ODYSSEY

Dark Odyssey was created in 2003 as a wholly unique experience, built to bring together sexuality, spirituality, education, and play in a fun, supportive, non-judgmental environment where fantasy becomes reality. Since that time, Dark Odyssey has become the home of top-notch play spaces, creative amenities, and inspiring events where people can have truly immersive experiences.

As a community, Dark Odyssey is a melting pot of diverse identities and interests that welcomes people of all genders, sexual orientations, and erotic persuasions. We are sex-positive with interests as diverse as BDSM, swinging, Tantra, body modification, Master/slave relationships, erotic role-playing, sacred sexuality, polyamory, Paganism, cross-dressing, and sexual adventure. We appreciate that everyone has their own fetishes, kinks, and turn-ons, and we strive to make room for them all in an open, tolerant and inclusive atmosphere.

THE PRODUCERS:

GregGreg L— at birth, Greg held off breathing just long enough to get a few extraswats from the doctor. Later in life, he founded the Toy Bag where he perfected the art of building exotic wood and leather paddles for basically the same purpose. Eventually the Toy Bag merged with Heartwood Whips, makers of the proverbial “Cadillac of Floggers”in the BDSM scene and he completed his quest to build the perfect impact toys.

Greg has served the BDSM community for over a decade. As a six-yearBoard Member of Black Rose (with three as Chairman), he helped manage the group through its largest growth period and climb to international prominence. His true love lies in “throwing the big party.” Greg Co-Chaired the Black Rose Annual event five times. He is a founding partner in both Leather Retreat and Odyssey Events which together hold 3 large conventions each year.

KarriKarri, co-producer, has been involved with Dark Odyssey events since its inception in 2002. She plays registrar, hotel coordinator (on-site) and volunteer coordinator for each Dark Odyssey Winter Fire event. Karri started her scene life by co-starting the CATS sig for Black Rose and working on several of their annual conventions. She was also very active in TNG. She’s been “in the scene” for almost a decade and is always learning new things. She now lives in California with her wonderful husband, Greg. She was registration director for International Ms. Leather in San Francisco the past two years. Always on the look-out for distractions, activities include finding a lucky soul (or several) to take out her aggressions on, teasing a number of worthy attendees, and crafting shenanigans with her friends.
