Washington DC has a new happy hour for the sex positive BDSM, Spiritual and Lifestyle communities. We've got great food, drink specials and lots of fun, outgoing people you want to meet. There's no cover charge or dress code so come out after work and have a drink with us. Happy hour is for everybody .. over 21 that is.

The D.O. Happy Hour has a new home ...

Our original spot, Vida, has closed (nothing to do with us) and after a month of bar hopping we are happy to announce that we have found a new home.

The Foodbar DC, is just four blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro (North Exit). They have a cozy lounge area downstairs by the bar that is really the perfect size for us. Drink Specials run until 8pm and include things like 2 for 1 martinis and $1.75 Smirnoff drinks ... which is an amazing deal. Their menu prices on appetizers and entrees are really reasonable and quite tasty. This place is a winner. Come check it out.

You'll find a *slightly* easier time parking here than Buffalo Billards, but the Metro is still the easiest way to get there. For those of you not city savvy you might want to do a mapquest. The bar entrance is literally on the corner of 17th and R. If you are going to look for parking we suggest you look on the side away from Dupont Circle ... try 15th and 16th street.

Again, The Foodbar DC has plenty of drink specials and tasty food and is in a really nice neighborhood with lots of other restaurants, bars and shops. That’s why parking sucks. We hope you'll come check it out with us.

Q: Is Happy Hour Every Thursday?

A: Just about. We doubt anyone will be showing up on Thanksgiving. But other than that, you'll be able to find us every Thursday night.

Q: Is Happy Hour Connected to Winter Fire?

A: Not Really. Dark Odyssey runs 2 or 3 big events each year with 3-400 people attending our Summer Camp and probably 800 at this year's Winter Fire. We want to give people a way to meet and have fun the other 50 weeks of the year so Dark Odyssey: Happy Hour was born.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Anything you like. Most of us are coming straight from work so you wont find us dressed in leather, rubber, or lingere.

Q: How do I know I've found you at the bar?

A: Just ask for DO or Dark Odyssey: Happy Hour. The FoodbarDC is a pretty small place and we will basically be filling up their lounge/bar area. You wont be able to miss us.

Q: What should I expect?

A: Relax, its just a happy hour. Come on out and say hello. Have a drink, chat and meet people. We talk about anything and everything. Its a great, low pressure, discrete way to meet kinky people.
