We will start from the beginning - your necessary items and where to get them, preparing the environment (and the bottom!) for the needle play scene, basic needle play techniques, the manipulation of energy during a needle play scene, and safety concerns. By the time the workshop is over, you'll be ready to start your explorations into the realm of needle play and ensure a fun and safe scene for your partner. If time permits, we will also go over some "advanced" techniques to give you an idea how to use your own creativity to enhance and enliven your needle play scenes.The Top as Shaman: Setting the Pathway for Transformation
The role of the top is often minimized in our community; a top is seen as adequate when they have the techniques and rhythms of the scene down pat. But it limits the truly transformational role that a top can play in the lives of their partners (and, as a result, in their own lives). An exceptional top acts as mentor, guide, leader, and counselor - they are in a position where, with a combination of empathy and knowledge, they can enable the bottoms that they play with to reach new heights in personal, spiritual, and sexual ecstasy.
