Barbara Carrellas

Barbara Carrellas (www.tootallblondes.com) is a sex educator, writer, performance artist and pleasure activist. She is the co-founder of "Erotic Awakening," a pioneering series of workshops focusing on the physical, spiritual and healing powers of sex. Barbara was named Best Tantric Sex Seminar Leader in New York City by Time Out Magazine for her pioneering series of Urban Tantra workshops.

She has been featured in the videos Annie Sprinkle's Amazing World of Orgasm, Selfloving, The Sluts & Goddesses Video Workshop, Zen Pussy, in the film Sacred Sex, and in several episodes of the HBO television series Real Sex. She collaborated with Annie Sprinkle to present a new/ancient vision of female sexuality in theatrical from in "MetamorphoSex." She also directed the Australian premiere of Annie's renowned one-woman show, Post Porn Modernist. Barbara has lectured at numerous colleges and universities, none of which would have invited her if they had really known what she was up to. Barbara has written numerous articles and essays about sex. She has also written and produced "The Pleasure Principle", a series of edu-taining audio tapes. Barbara's book, Urban Tantra will be published in early 2006.
