Cabins

Dark Odyssey's private 200-acre facility in Northern Maryland caters exclusively to adults. Minutes from I-95, it is easily reached from New York and Washington DC. The retreat is also accessible by public transportation. Once you register, you will receive all the information you need about travel options and directions. If you are flying, the best airport is Baltimore Washington International (BWI). From there we recommend you rent a car and drive to the retreat. There are people coming from all over the country and especially the east coast. Once you've registered you will have access to our ride share board in the community system.

Each of the 40 cabins include real beds with mattresses, full bathrooms with hot water, showers, flush toilets and electricity for your Mr. Coffee and that all important Hitachi. For those of you who prefer to get closer to nature, there are over 200 acres to pitch a tent. Additionally the camp offers two swimming pools, a lake for canoeing, nightly bon fires and miles of hiking trails.

The center prides itself on the quality of its food service. All meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the cost of your registration. You¹ll even be getting a midnight snack.

Community Service

We ask that all attendees sign up for 4 hours of community service when they check in. You'll be helping with many important functions that keep the event running smoothly. The jobs that you'll be doing vary and we won't ask you to do something that you physically can't. This is a great opportunity to meet other attendees. A "resort option" is available that allows you to opt out of the 4 hours of community service for $50. Most people do not take this option, but it is available to you.
